K-Ville comes to Five's family of channels

The cop drama is set in New Orleans during and after the city was struck by Hurricane Katrina. K-Ville follows two policemen – one black, one white – who remained in the city during the hurricane and who each have very different views about how the city's problems can be resolved.
Five acquired rights to the hotly-anticipated series from Twentieth Century Fox TV Distribution. K-Ville is currently in production and will premiere in the States on 17 September 2007 on the Fox Network.
Five will begin broadcasting the series from early 2008. Negotiations for Five were led by Vanessa Brookman, Controller of Acquisitions: "The combination of traditional procedural crime drama set against the backdrop of post-Katrina New Orleans makes K-Ville a fascinating and engaging show.“
