Deal approved – Rick Spinner new CEO of Alpha Media Group
RTL Group and Dimitris Contominas, current owner of Alpha Media Group, announced that the Greek Competition Commission has approved RTL Group’s acquisition of a 66.6 per cent majority stake in Alpha Media Group. The parties’ agreement on the transaction had been announced previously on 23 September 2008. Both parties intend to close the transaction before Christmas.
